HAND-TIED BOUQUETS

Join experienced florist Allyson Martin from Bloomery for a relaxed and inspiring workshop, where you’ll learn to create your own natural hand-tied bouquet. 

The session will begin with a gentle stroll through Kiftsgate’s beautiful cutting garden, where you may gather a few extra stems for your arrangement. Back on the veranda, Allyson will explain how to make cut flowers last longer and what to consider when selecting seasonal blooms and foliage.

You’ll then be guided step-by-step through the spiralling technique to form a loose, natural bouquet. Finally, you’ll learn how to tie and wrap your bouquet, before placing it in a glass vase and a Bloomery gift bag – ready to take home and enjoy.

Price includes all materials and equipment – including locally sourced British flowers, gift wrapping and a glass vase – along with tea/coffee/biscuits. 

This workshop will take place on the veranda. 

Following the workshop, lunch can be purchased from the tearoom. Participants can also enjoy access to the gardens for the rest of the afternoon.
