artisan dried florals

£115 per person*

*Workshop limited to 12 places

Join local grower and flower preserver Lucy Phillips for a creative workshop exploring the art of drying and arranging garden-gathered florals. Under Lucy’s expert guidance, you’ll learn how to harvest and dry flowers and use them to create a contemporary 'ikebana'-inspired arrangement using a kenzan (flower frog) and a small bowl.

The workshop will begin with a walk through Kiftsgate’s extensive gardens, where Lucy will introduce the many possibilities of working with garden flowers and share the best drying techniques for different varieties. You’ll then use Lucy’s artisan dried peonies to craft your own beautiful floral compositions in a relaxed and engaging environment, allowing your own creativity and style to develop. Lucy will answer any bespoke questions on growing and drying flowers as the morning progresses.
