Kiftsgate Court

Yellow Border

Turning back on your tracks you now come to the Yellow Border. This is mainly a foliage border of varying shapes and colours, intermingled with herbaceous plants of blue, yellow and orange. There is a magnificent view to the north, and the Wrekin in Shropshire, sixty miles away, can be seen on a clear day.

Yellow Border

Particular attention has been paid to keep the delphiniums royal blue with no trace of mauve in them, in accordance to the colour scheme of the border. A new addition is the long flowering yellow rose named after Graham Thomas who wrote about this yellow border in the RHS Journal in 1951 when it featured on the front cover.
